VS - Mispriced Research

Mispriced Research

Welcome to my public equity research library. My research focuses on companies undergoing transformational change where I believe market expectations diverge from long-term fundamentals. Each report includes a investment memo and valuation model.

*Companies published are ones I personally invest in, but do not represent all of my positions. New reports are published monthly. Not financial advice

My investment philosophy is centered on identifying transformational technologies before they become widely recognized by the market. I research companies developing revolutionary products, platforms, and business models that have the potential to reshape entire industries, with a particular focus on understanding how value is created throughout emerging technology ecosystems. Today, much of my equity research follows the evolving AI value chain, starting with compute then  infrastructure to power and, then discovering the where the market moves next. As each stage of the ecosystem matures, I seek to identify where capital and market attention are likely to flow next, uncovering opportunities where I believe long-term value has yet to be fully recognized by the market.

Figure 1. The Lassonde Curve illustrates the typical lifecycle of innovation and its relationship to market valuation. Technologies often experience an initial surge of optimism following discovery, followed by the "Valley of Death," where development, commercialization challenges, and uncertainty weigh on investor sentiment. As products achieve commercial validation and adoption, improving fundamentals can drive a meaningful market re-rating. My research focuses on companies approaching this transition from technological validation to commercial execution.

Many breakthrough technologies follow a pattern similar to the Lassonde Curve, where years of research, capital investment, and product development occur before commercial success is reflected in a company's valuation. Rather than investing after a technology becomes widely accepted, I seek businesses approaching this inflection point, where execution, customer adoption, revenue growth, and industry catalysts begin to validate the underlying investment thesis.

Every investment begins with rigorous fundamental research. I evaluate each company through industry analysis, competitive positioning, management execution, financial modeling, valuation, with the biggest emphasis in its catalysts to determine whether its current market price accurately reflects its long-term intrinsic value. While my research frequently focuses on emerging technologies, the underlying investment process remains consistent across every industry: identify durable innovation, understand the business fundamentally, and determine whether the market has mispriced its future potential.

I'm Victoria Sarabosing, a Finance, Markets, and Emerging Technologies student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), graduating May 2028, with a passion for investing, equity research, and understanding the businesses and technologies shaping the future.

At RPI, I serve as Chief Investment Officer of the James Investment Fund and President of the Finance Club, where I help manage our university's endowment, lead equity research, organize networking and professional development events, and work to build a community for students interested in finance. I'm also a member of the RPI Women's Tennis Team (NCAA D3), and being a student-athlete has taught me so much about discipline, resilience, and how to grow in my sport.

A lot of my free time is spent reading about companies, following the markets, and trying to become a better investor. In my free time I enjoy playing pickleball, snowboarding, hiking, cooking, house music, neo-expressionism art and learning new hobbies.

I created this website to share the research I'm working on, document how my investment philosophy continues to evolve, and hopefully connect with others who enjoy learning about investing has much as I do.
